Is Pet Wellness & Insurance the same thing?
Nope! Whisk Pet Wellness plans reimburse you for the routine and preventative care you do for your pets annually. We don’t cover emergency and catastrophic care for accidents and illness.
Are Pet Wellness Plans available in my city & state?
Yes! Whisk Pet Wellness plans are available to pet owners anywhere in America.
What Vet Can I go to?
Any vet you want! Whisk Pet Wellness works on a reimbursement basis, so you’ll pay the vet bill out of pocket and submit a picture of your receipt for reimbursement. We know that’s a pain sometimes, so we promise to process claims within 24hrs so you’re not out of pocket for long.
When can I start using the service and reimbursement?
As soon as you are signed up! Please note that we are only able to reimburse you for services after you have signed up. Vet bills incurred prior to joining Whisk will not be covered.

How do I submit a claim?
Log in to your Whisk dashboard and select “Make a claim.” From there, you simply need to upload a picture of your invoices with an itemized list of procedures as well as medical history, and we’ll handle the rest.
How long after submitting a claim will I get paid?
Whisk claims are processed in 48 hours! You will receive notification of payment as soon as the claim is reviewed.
How do I get paid for reimbursements?
Reimbursements can be made via Venmo, PayPal or bank transfer. When you sign up for your plan, you can decide how you want your reimbursements made!

Can I cancel my wellness plan?
Yes, if you haven’t made a claim you have a 24 hour grace period to adjust your plan coverage or cancel for a full refund. Simply send us a support request by email and we’ll get you set up. If you have made a claim and the 24 hour period has passed, we will have to assess a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is the lesser of payments made minus the total of claims reimbursed, or the remaining payments on your plan. We know fees suck, but unfortunately this is the only way we can protect ourselves from people signing up one day, using a whole bunch of services, and then canceling the next. We’re definitely here to help you, but we need to stay in business to do so!
Why do I need to commit for 12 months?
The health needs of our pets change over time, and by offering yearly plans we are able to offer our members significant discounts on all the things that keep them healthy. However, under the monthly pay option, claims may be reimbursed that have not been fully paid for. In order for us to commit to bringing you awesome discounts and benefits, we need you to be committed to us!
